We believe that acupuncture does not need to be expensive to be effective. The community acupuncture model makes this possible.
Community Acupuncture is based on a growing movement to revolutionize healthcare and the way acupuncture is practiced in America. In Asia, acupuncture usually occurs in a community setting, rather than one-on-one in an individualized setting. Tradition and research have also shown that acupuncture is most effective when done frequently and regularly, often more than 1 time/week. By utilizing this traditional community model, patients can afford regular & frequent treatment, and will therefore benefit quicker and more effectively.
4 Branches Community Acupuncture offers a sliding fee scale making services affordable and available to all of the Tucson community. Our fees are comparable to a typical insurance co-pay, with discounts* offered to active military, and our wise ones over 65!

| What Can I Expect? Please make sure you eat at least 1 -2 hours before you come in, and wear loose, comfortable clothing. You may brush your teeth that morning, but do not brush your tongue. Expect to stay at least an hour or more for your initial treatment. Water and tea are available in the clinic, in addition to light blankets. If you have a favorite pillow or blanket, you are more than welcome to bring it with you. You will be greeted by our staff and given some brief paperwork to fill out (If you like, you may download the initial intake paperwork to fill out prior to your first visit). There is an additional $10 paperwork charge on your 1st visit. Payment is due prior to receiving treatment, and return visits should also be scheduled at this time. You Decide What You Can Afford! Sliding Scale Fees: Treatments are based on a sliding fee scale. Sliding Fee Scale ------------------$30-$50 New patient intake fee (1x charge) ----$10 Seniors > 65 / *low-income----------$25 Active Military / Veterans ------------$25 *Packages Available For $15/treatment! Call for more information After a brief consultation with one of our experienced acupuncturists, you will be guided to a recliner in our large, soothing treatment space, where you may sit back and relax. By resting quietly together, this communal setting establishes a collective healing atmosphere, which many find to be pleasantly comforting and peaceful. It is also easy for friends and family to come in for treatment together. We practice Chinese and meridian styles of acupuncture, which mostly use "distal" points on the hands & feet to treat problems anywhere in the body. We use only sterile, single-use, disposable needles. Our patients are allowed to keep their needles in as long as they want, and the right amount of time varies from person to person. Most people learn after a few treatments when they feel "done" & then have us remove them. Many people fall asleep, and awaken feeling refreshed and energized! |
